FECOFA trains, appoints and supports the referees of Congolese football, from provincial competitions to international matches.

Become a referee

Refereeing is open to everyone. The pathway starts with the league of your province.

  1. Step 1

    Registration: contact the refereeing committee of your provincial league.

  2. Step 2

    Initial training: Laws of the Game, match management and fitness.

  3. Step 3

    Exam: written tests and a fitness test, then first observed matches.

  4. Step 4

    Progression: successive grades based on assessments, from provincial to national level, then international.
